Gambling giant Betfair Casino wanted to increase awareness of its "Prize Pinball", the first completely free to play pinball game on any gambling platform. The campaign and video were designed to dispel the British public skepticism by proving there was no catch to this game.

A “Winner’s Grotto” was erected in Manchester Arndale, and passing pundits were invited by Betfair’s charming talker Bret Flair to try their luck at a real game of pinball. Each player then chose a random envelope containing either £10 or the grand prize of £1000.

This awareness campaign was filmed and edited for regional and national press offices, and social media. With the help of accompanying press material from Betfair Casino’s team, the campaign reached a huge audience of over 4 million with national media coverage in print and online.

The client praised the quality of the video which was turned around quickly to meet their strict deadline.

You can see coverage of the Betfair Casino “Skeptical Freebie” campaign in The Sun and Manchester Evening News.
